Ademola Adeyeba, Founder 1000 Black Boys
Ademola is the Founder of 1000 Black Boys and CEO & Founder of Get Hench. He is one of the leading mindset coaches in Europe. He’s been featured in Forbes and has appeared on BBC radio London.
He stands for a powerful vision that people are unleashed into their greatness and that they become purpose. 1000 Black Boys and Get Hench are an expression of that.
1000 Black Boys organise inspirational events to empower Black Boys and young Black Men to live a life full of purpose. Get Hench provide one to one and group coaching programmes for entrepreneurs, business professionals, startups, 10-25 year olds and their parents.
Asharn Mickolo, Member, The Brave Project, C.I.C
Asharn is a 17 year old who is currently studying A levels (Business, Maths and Geography) at a sixth form. He wants to be an Accountant. When Asharn was 10 he had the IQ of a university graduate, he skipped his last year of primary school and started secondary school one year early.
He was recently featured in an article about the Brave Project. The editor asked him about his opinion on mental health and the Brave project and he said:
“Mental health is a difficult topic to tackle, especially for young black men, as there are few role models or leaders as to which we can look up to within our own community but with the help of the Brave Project, young black men such as myself are guaranteed the help that they need.”

The Brave project community interest company is a non-profit suicide prevention and wellbeing service, for BAME boys and young men. Our mission is to reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues and empower BAME boys and young men to speak up and reach out for help when they need it.
The Brave project creates and promotes culturally appropriate mental health awareness campaigns, that influence change. We also promote and provide wellbeing workshops, services and support for BAME boys and young men.
Chris Ifill, Poet & Partner, The Brave Project
Chris Ifill aka Stxvos is a 25 year from Newham. He is a former student of St.Bonaventure school in forest gate, which is where he developed his love for poetry.
Makeda McMillan, Founder & CEO, MakedaMakes
MakedaMakes is a community interest organisation that specialises on delivering services in the creative industry. These range from Arts Award Qualifications / Bid writing support / Consultancy / project management and evaluation support. Its main ethos is to provide opportunities to young people from deprived backgrounds predominantly from BAME backgrounds.
Amy Barbor, Lead Learning Manager, School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE)
Amy is a coordinator for a programme that has been set up by PwC UK and SSE to give Black-led social enterprises access to finance, mentoring and networks. Over the next year the programme will enable Black social entrepreneurs to work closely with PwC UK and SSE to develop skills and strategies that will help increase their positive social impact and reach.
1000 Black Boys are one of the 10 organisations that will be supported.
Michael Oluwaseun Sode, Peer Mentor Lead & VP of Finance, 100 Black Men of London
Michael Oluwaseun Sode, Peer Mentor lead and current VP of Finance for the 100 Black Men of London.
Outside of the 100 Michael has a passion for youth empowerment, building generational wealth and making a positive contribution to the black community.
Adam Stewart, Peer Mentor, 100 Black Men of London
Adam Stewart is an incredible 18 year old student at Archbishop Tenisons where he is the Deputy Head boy, Mentor, and leader of revival at his school.
Outside of school Adam is a public speaker, a youth minister at Rapha Christian Centre, a peer mentor at the 100 Black Men of London.
Jaden Wildman, Rapper, Music Producer & Part of 100 Black Men of London and YLA Group
Also known as Luthernist, he is an aspiring rapper and music producer from East London.
He is 17 year old diamond for the 100 Black Men of London and YLA group.
Jonas Andrew-Phillip, International youth speaker & workshop facilitator
Jonas Andrew-Phillip facilitates career, personal progression workshops and programmes. He also speaks to young people. He uses his upbringing to inspire and empower his peers and encourages them to realise their untapped potential to achieve whatever they want.
His time at 100 Black Men of London (100 BMOL) was a classic turnaround story. He started off being a young person with low-confidence who was at risk of exclusion and after 3 1/2 years grew into a confident young professional. He has done everything that 100 BMOL has to offer. Through his journey there he has met many respectable young people who are great to be around and he's still in contact with a majority of them today.
Louis Howell, Youth and Education Expert
Louis Howell is a dynamic and rounded professional with experience that spans the voluntary youth sector, education sector and the world of small business. He co-runs an educational social enterprise, Revolution Hive, that equips young people for life. He also runs an expert consultancy called 7PK that helps charities, social enterprises and corporate organisations to improve their approache to Youth and Community Development, Diversity and Inclusion and their Social Mobility Initiatives.

KONDWANI, Director at Freshrb C.I.C.
KONDWANI is a Director at Freshrb C.I.C. - a video production social enterprise based in Manchester offering creative video solutions to raise health themes, whilst running digital media production workshops with young people and individuals with life limiting/long term conditions. These are accredited workshops called Silent Elephant Project.
Michelle Thompson, Founder, Learning In Action
Michelle has over 15 years experience of working with local authorities, public health and CSE’s. She is an expert in implementing strategies and effective practices to help improve services and service delivery. Through Action Learning Sets, research and participation, programme and workshop design, organisations and individuals are able to identify clear solutions to complex challenges personally and professionally.
She is passionate about making a difference to the community.
